Library has Rex Appeal |

Renata Kramersmeier of Rapid City works on a computer Tuesday under the gaze of Stan, a full-sized plastic reproduction of a Tyrannosaurus rex skeleton, in Rapid City Public Library. Stan is on loan from the Black Hills Institute of Geological Research in Hill City to help promote Library Card Sign-up Month in September as well as Mayor Jim Shaw's "One Book, One Community" initiative to promote literacy and library use.
